Retirement Lifestyles
We have a choice

We can now consider some post-retirement lifestyles that we may find desirable and investigate ways that provide less hectic lifestyles than we were used to in the workplace. While the above picture of the original light house at Point Loma, California was taken prior to my retirement, Point Loma and San Diego are certainly on my list as post-retirement places to visit. The view was fabulous and the location quite peaceful.
Perhaps we seek a retirement lifestyle that provides more social time with friends and family. Relaxing on sunny beaches, dining at fine restaurants, visiting art galleries and museums, and just enjoying a more liesurely lifestyle suits many retirees. However, many retirees prefere a lifestyle that could be considered to be more physically challenging, active and vibrant. Other retirees may desire to continue with many of their pre-retirement activities now that they have more time to dedicate to the activity. Many locations have all of these and more. We just need to find that right balance that works for us.
